Sand-Knit company history
MacGregor Sporting Goods acquired Sand-Knit in 1984. Tail tags with the MacGregor
name began to appear in late 1985 to 1986.
MacGregor Sand-Knit was the exclusive supplier of uniforms to the Lions through
the 1990 season.
MacGregor filed bankruptcy in 1990, and vacated the Sand-Knit manufacturing facility
at that time.
